What do I offer?
The starting point is a free 45 minute session. We will get to know each other, work out whether we're a good fit to work together, and explore how you can make the best use of coaching. From there on there are a few options:
- Book a one-off session to dive a bit deeper on a particular issue.
- Book a series of sessions (we can work out how many from our initial free meeting).
- Schedule regular monthly coaching/check-in sessions, to get on course and stay on course.

How much does it cost?
Your first exercise when working with me as a coach is to set you rate of payment! I offer coaching to anyone who need it. In order to do this, I have 3 levels of charging bands.
- My standard professional charge is £125 for a one hour session, £175 for 60-90 minutes. This is the UK average for ICF coaches with professional level training*.
- If you live and work in North Wales and can meet face to face, then local fees apply, £55 per hour.
- If you have a regular income from work or pension, but the full fees are beyond your budget, then I first ask you to consider how else you spend your time and money: phone, hairdresser, gym, TV subscriptions, eating out maybe? And then consider how much you are willing to invest in developing your life through coaching. You can choose to pay anything upwards of £30 per hour (pro rata for 60-90 minutes).
- If work is scarce and income scarcer, but coaching can help, please feel free to set your own rate from £5 to £30 per hour.
By charging professional level fees to those who can afford it, I am able to support people who would otherwise not have access to professional level coaching.
Some further thoughts for those who need them (these apply whether you choose to work with me or another coach):
- There are costs involved in offering high quality coaching with professionally assessed and accredited training, membership of the International Coaching Federation (to maintain ethical and professional standards), supervision, insurance and continuing professional development.
- I value my time and I hope you will too. For each hour of face to face coaching I spend at least another hour in preparation, reflection, supervision and ongoing training.
- We value what we pay for and we pay for what we value. What value will you place on making time for your personal development? And what does that look like in your situation? £5 for one person is as valuable as £50 or £500 for someone else.
One hour, or 90 minutes?
- One hour is plenty to do some really great work, experience some deep learning and develop plans for the next step.
- 60-90 minutes: I find that the option to work together for up to 90 minutes allows for a much more relaxed and often more fruitful experience than a single hour. Sometimes a breakthrough is obvious before the end of the 90 minutes - then we will stop so you can take away a live result to make real in your life.
